8 years as a hybrid designer / developer (2005-2013)

Overview

For eight years across three Minneapolis studios, the last five of them at Pixel Farm, I built interactive websites and apps with some warmth to them, turning corporate ideas into something people would actually want to spend time with.

The internet is a noisy place. Everyone is shouting. Our job was to be the ones whispering something interesting in the corner. We had to take big, corporate ideas and make them feel human. Sometimes we succeeded. Sometimes we just made really nice looking buttons. But we always tried to tell a story.
